Seawalls
McCabe updated the Board on the seawall being rebuilt at Hull Shore drive at the rear of the Clarion Hotel. The contractors will use steel sheathing hammered into the ground as part of the phase 1 restoration project. The concrete will be collapsed and the new structure will be more landward and sloped to dissipate the wave action. A discussion ensued on the time frame. The Board sought assurances that the project would not be ongoing during the summer, nor did they want any fencing .to disrupt business as it did last year. Reilly left the meeting to attend the conservation meeting and seek the answer to the question of timing.
